Canon XSi, 100mm macro lens, f/16, 4 seconds.
Believe it or not, this shot was much easier to capture than you might otherwise imagine. If anyone's interested in how it's done, feel free to drop me an email.
You'll notice that I used an aperture of f/16. I did this because I wanted to make sure that the picture was going to be in focus from front to back. Of course, because I used a narrow aperture, I had to use a longer shutter speed -- in this case, I left the shutter open for four seconds. And yes, I used a tripod. :)

very nice, I've had a few shots where I had my shutter open for over an hour.(Don't try that with digital)
That's a real beauty.
Eventually, I have to read my manual--I need to stop letting my new camera run on "auto" and actually do some shooting that uses *my* brains, instead of the camera's.

Congratulate me--I just got the manual uploaded on Sunday, so I finally located the "low-light" setting on my camera. It'll take me another decade to reach your skill-level. I'd better keep my day job. :)
