On Tzar Giddul Banim (Pain of Raising Children)...

I had the following conversation (verbatim) with S1 this morning who didn't want to get dressed and go to school:

(after about two minutes of back and forth)
Me: Stop talking back to me.
S1: I'm not talking back!
Me: I'm telling you to get dressed so that you'll be ready when your ride gets here.
S1: And I'm telling you something else!

*Sigh*

Yep! That's adolescence! Remember, it's much worse for him. He has to cope with all those changes in his body and raging hormones.
