Hand In Foot

It's been a while since I've posted any new photos. I've been too busy (or lazy... take your pick) to go out and do much shooting of late.

However, I did recently attend a Pidyon HaBen and, of course, I brought my camera and made a pain of myself. :)

Canon XSi, 18-55mm lens at 55mm

As usual, comments, criticisms and critiques are welcome, appreciated and encouraged.

That is the most awesome photo!
I tried my hand at this same look here.

Much better in black and white.
The softness of the blanket adds so much.

A+

OK, now we're talking. This is really, really spectacular. I daresay, this is your finest work. Love the focus, the lighting, textures, the scale, juxtaposition, and the black-and-white. This one is a keeper and very, very suitable for framing. Makes an nice pidyon gift :>)

Curious what the lighting source was, the ASA setting, and whether you used a tripod? And how did you get the background so dark?

awwww! TOO freakin' cute!

Btw, your blog template is atrocious in IE8 - the light background behind the text doesn't show up, so it's just dark letters on dark background. Had to switch to Firefox to see anything.
