It's been a while since I put up a photo. Truth to tell, between school, work and professional training, I haven't had as much time for photography as I would have liked to have. I hope to get back to more shooting as soon as I can.
In the meantime, I take camera to family functions, including brissim. I took this shot at my cousin's bris. The hands belong to the baby and his father -- hence the title of the picture: Father & Son.
As always, comments, critiques and criticisms are welcome and encouraged.

Cute.
Lovely photo. But I wouldn't be too quick to admit that's your cousin. He's wearing a ring! Who knows what having a relative like that will do to your kids shidduch reputations?!
Hedyot,
It's worse than that. This particular cousin (as is the case with most of my cousins) isn't even frum.
As far as shidduchim go... I'm going to advise my kids that if someone is going to be so petty as to reject them because of cousins that they see at most three or four times a year, then they're better off without that potential shidduch anyway.

Nice. What makes you decide on black and white rather than color for particular shots?
In color, it just looks like a close up shot of some hands - but in B/W it has a different quality to it (IMHO anyway) that makes it look less like an ordinary picture and more like an emotional piece.

its nice. i would probably leave more space- *air* on the picture and i am not sure abot b and w version- or maybe child hand has to be more pale for the contrast)) do you have profile on photodom?
Great photo. It's a perfect reminder of how tiny our children are when they are first born.
nice. I keep wanting to do this same type of shot but it comes out all blurry. meantime, my baby is getting bigger and bigger and soon I wont be able to anymore. whaaaa!
Speaking as someone who has seen both the color and the b&w versions of this pic, I definitely would vote for the b&w. Somehow, it gives it a different quality than if it were in color.
